Before we jump into the setup of the 还装有 Hero11 Black as a webcam, let’s discuss some basics.

If you’re using the 还装有 Hero11 Black for the first time as a webcam, 你需要做以下事情:

You can quickly check to see how your video looks by clicking the Show Preview option on the 还装有 Webcam app’s drop-down menu. When the preview appears, you can adjust the view to Flip or Mirror (图3).

Before we get into evaluating the 还装有’s webcam features working in different web applications, let’s quickly discuss the different streaming platforms available 和 the configuration process.

还装有 Hero11 Black supports live streaming to the following platforms 和 options: 还装有.com， Facebook, 抽搐, YouTube和“其他/ RTMP”.” To access the streaming options using 你的相机, you’ll need to use the 还装有 Quik app.

Under the options at the bottom of the  还装有 Quik app, click on 还装有. 接下来，选择控制还装有 (图5).

In the dialog that opens, choose Enable Preview to see your 还装有 camera output. 接下来，选择Live选项，然后选择setup Live.

I tested the streaming capabilities of 还装有 Hero11 Black using the following streaming platforms 和 options within the 还装有 Quik app: 还装有.com， 其他/ RTMP和抽搐. 的 还装有.com option requires a subscription fee 和 allows users to deliver live streams using the manufacturer’s own streaming platform.

I was also able to deliver live streams using Mux with the 其他/ RTMP streaming option (图12). 例如, I could easily configure a live stream using Mux by adding the Mux RTMP streaming URL along with the stream key.

然而, one element that’s missing in the settings to configure a live stream within the 还装有 Quik app is an option for where users can add their stream key. This would make it easy for users to add the stream key information from their preferred streaming platform without having to guess where to put it.

YouTube生活

不幸的是, 我无法在流媒体平台下测试YouTube生活, as users are required to have at least 50 subscribers before they can use YouTube生活 with the 还装有 Quik app. I received a “Can’t Stream to YouTube” message when I selected the YouTube生活 streaming option.
